The Indiana Fever announced on Thursday that the team set a WNBA record for home attendance this season at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

That doesn’t come as much of a surprise—Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes also set attendance records in her final college season. There is no question that she has become a must-watch player for basketball fans.

She’s also well on her way to winning the WNBA Rookie of the Year award after leading the Fever (19-18) to the postseason while averaging 19.1 points and 8.4 assists per game. She’s already one of the league’s best players, and certainly one of its most discussed.

The Fever aren’t going to be a true title contender this season, well off the pace of teams like the New York Liberty, Minnesota Lynx, Connecticut Sun and two-time defending champion Las Vegas Aces. They are, however, the hottest ticket in town.
