UNDISPUTED host Skip Bayless has taken aim at Team USA star Kevin Durant.

Colleague Keyshawn Johnson discussed a hypothetical scenario where Paul Pierce was added to the dominant Golden State Warriors team instead of Durant.

“If I put Paul Pierce on the Golden State Warriors with Klay Thompson and Draymond and Steph Curry, you don’t think he could do the same s**t?” Johnson asked.

Johnson was selected with the No. 1 overall pick of the 1996 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.

And Durant referenced some of the other talents available in that Draft class in a reply on X.

“If the jets would’ve took Jonathan Ogden, Marvin Harrison, ray lewis or Eddie George number 1 they would’ve been better off……I hate hypotheticals,” he posted.

Durant had recently inspired Team USA to a comeback victory over Serbia with 23 points at the Paris Olympics.

And Bayless said he found it odd that Durant could not enjoy his performance instead of calling out Johnson.

“I’m gonna say it again about Kevin,” he said.

“He is the thinnest-skinned superstar in the history of sports.

“Because he has had burner accounts, and he continued to stoop, to go completely beneath his all-time great dignity and engage with nobodies on Twitter.

“He was doing it yesterday, back and forth with nobodies.”

Durant’s return on Sunday was welcomed after he missed all five exhibition games in Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi and London.

The scoring powerhouse had been out with a calf strain.

Durant didn’t start the game but wasn’t on a minute limitation either.

According to the NBC broadcast, the USA basketball staff were cautious not to rush the 35-year-old back too soon.

But he was on fire early on in the game against Serbia.

And Dwayne Wade summed up his value to the US team while calling the game on NBC.

“He brings a different dynamic to this team that nobody has seen in this tournament,” Wade said.

The US team had an early scare when they fell 10-2 behind and Kerr hooked off Joel Embiid.

But LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Durant took over and proved too hot for Serbia to handle.

The final score of 110-84 summed up a resounding victory for the American team.

Durant finished with 23 points on 8-9 shooting while James, who carried the team in their two wins in London last week, had 21.

‘Ego and other BS’

USA’s basketball team for the Paris 2024 Olympics faces “disaster

According to DailyMail.com, the team could face “embarrassment” in their pursuit of Olympic gold this summer.

They quoted a source as saying, “They will never hear the end of it if they lose, they are supposed to be the best in the world, so act like it and don’t let ego and other BS take over what should be automatic.

“The ego that lies within the team, everyone is out for their own and not for the team as a whole.

“That can and will be a disaster if they all don’t change the thought process, they have to play like a team.”

USA’s team this year is one of it’s most star-studded in history, with the likes of LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant all part of the roster.

He told NBC, “I’ve been building with these guys the last couple weeks and itching to get back on the floor. I’m happy to be out with the team.

“We’ve talked in training camp about being connected.
