Plies Predicts Kamala Harris Victory on New Song “Mrs. 47”: ‘It’s Gonna Be a Woman in That White House’
The Florida rapper predicted that President Joe Biden would withdraw from the 2024 Presidential Election for VP Kamala Harris to step in.
Plies knows who he’s voting for on his new Vice President Kamala Harris-dedicated track, “Mrs. 47.”
Both a tribute to his late grandmother and Democratic presidential candidate Harris, on “Mrs. 47,” Plies begins by recalling his grandmother’s emotional reaction to seeing former president Barack Obama take office.
“I remember holding my grandma man and she just couldn’t stop crying. And at that time I ain’t really know what it all really meant,” Plies said about his grandmother’s tears. “And before she died she looked at me she said, ‘Baby, I might not live to see it, but it’s going to be a woman in that White House one day.’
The Florida native continues with rapping about “the birth of Kamala” following the Obama Administration and being “too deep in the streets” to take politics seriously. But through his grandmother’s wishful thinking and prayers, she urged Plies to “keep fighting” and “do the work, put it in God’s hands.”
Midway through the song, Plies even gave a shoutout to Snoop Dogg, who previously decried former president Donald Trump for taking office.
During a profound moment in “Mrs. 47,” Plies rapped, “My grandma’s favorite saying was ‘God don’t make mistakes’/ Same way I felt when they added Kamala to the race.’ Back in July, Plies predicted on X that President Biden would exit the 2024 presidential race and endorse Harris as his successor, to which Trump would be “scared shitless.”
“He’s A Unconfident, Pathological Liar. Who ONLY Experience Victories When He Manipulates The System (I.E SCOTUS & Judge Cannon),” Plies continued in his anti-Trump rant. “He Has To Lie & Sell U An Illusion In Hopes U Believe In Him!! He Only Wins When It’s Handle To Him! Comey 2016!”
With Election Day just a week away, Harris has continued to pull celebrity endorsements, particularly from artists like Usher, Charli XCX, Bad Bunny, Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé, the latter two whom spoke at a Houston campaign rally for Harris last Friday.
