A'ja Wilson vs Chicago Sky

One can understand if Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese is compared to fellow rookie Caitlin Clark this season, both players have been incredible for their first year in the league. But comparing Angel with WNBA All-Star A’ja Wilson is a little unfair considering that we are talking about one of the best players from the last 5 years.

On Tuesday evening, the Las Vegas Aces faced the Chicago Sky in Sin City and Wilson delivered another historic performance. With an incredible 30 points and 14 rebounds double-double, A’ja Wilson became the player with the most 30+ points and 10+ rebounds in WNBA history. She just surpassed WNBA legend Tina Charles at the top.

How did Angel Reese do against the Aces?

Funny enough, rookie Angel Reese also had a double-double. For a rookie, scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds is quite impressive. The only problem is that she was facing arguably the best NBA player right now. It was simply a no contest that ended in a 90-71 victory for Las Vegas Aces.

A’ja Wilson gave the Sky very little room to wiggle and try to catch up with her. She was dominant on both sides of the paint and people also noticed one specific trait from her before the game. Folks have noticed a certain type of outfit A’ja Wilson uses when she is on a war path.

An X user realized that every time A’ja Wilson uses a plain white t-shirt, her stats sky rocket and she even makes history as she did tonight. Right now, she is the leader in the MVP table and the Las Vegas Aces are currently fourth overall in the NBA with a 21-12 record.

In the Western Conference, the Aces stand in second place behind the Minnesota Lynx. Just take a look at her stats when wearing a plain white t-shirt before the game. Currently, there seems to be no better player than A’ja Wilson in the WNBA.
