Clark had a very short acclimation to the professional league, quickly discarding the growing pains and putting the Indiana Fever in a playoff spot as it stands.

She leads the league in assists, is 13th in defensive rebounds and 8th in total points. At just 22 years old, she looks like a superstar, and WNBA legends have already taken notice.

Lisa Leslie’s message of support for Caitlin Clark

Lisa Leslie, one of the best players the sport has ever seen, gave her seal of approval for Clark’s game on Thursday.

This comes after Clark broke the WNBA rookie record for most three-pointers in a single season, which she did in a win against the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday night.

It was a cool gesture from Leslie, even though it wasn’t her record that Clark broke. Leslie won two WNBA championships and was named MVP of the league on three separate occasions. Clark will be hoping to replicate some of Leslie’s accomplishments throughout her career.
