Caitlin Clark has received an incredible gift from her teammate Erica Wheeler. The WNBA rookie star was recently treated to a dazzling diamond chain, thanks to Wheeler‘s jeweler, and the result is absolutely stunning.

The story began when Wheeler, who signed a multiyear contract with the Indiana Fever in 2023, shared a video of her own diamond-studded chain on social media, proudly displaying her jersey number.

Standing beside her, Clark admired the piece and mentioned she’d love to have one too. Taking her teammate’s wish to heart, Wheeler contacted her jeweler, the GLD Shop, to create a custom piece for Clark.

On Friday, the GLD Shop unveiled Clark‘s custom pendant featuring her No. 22, crafted with 1,000 handset VVS diamonds. The new jewelry piece left Clark beaming with joy as she proudly wore it, clearly thrilled with the result.

Shining for the Fever

At just 22 years old, Clark has been making a significant impact on the court, helping to elevate the Indiana Fever in the Eastern Conference standings with an average of 17.8 points per game.

Recently, she also set a WNBA record for the most assists in a single game, further solidifying her rising star status.

With an average of 8.3 assists per game, Clark has consistently been at the heart of the Fever’s offense.

One of the defining moments of Clark’s season occurred on July 17th against the Dallas Wings, where she set a WNBA record with 19 assists in a single game.

This extraordinary performance not only shattered records but also underscored her potential to shape the future of the league.

As her rookie year progresses, the buzz around her potential Rookie of the Year award grows louder, a testament to the incredible impact she has made in such a short time.
