Aaron Rodgers finally got the chance to start as quarterback for the New York Jets on Monday and it was an experience he would probably like to forget.

Regardless of losing to the San Francisco 49ers who were without Christian McCaffrey, Rodgers had some sort of altercation with offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett which was caught on camera and may need some explaining.

Hackett was also Rodgers‘ OC from 2019 to 2021 when they two were with the Green Bay Packers.

Rodgers was not able to get anything going outside of a 12-play, 70-yard touchdown in the first quarter as the Niners strolled to a 32-19 victory.

The Jets finished with just 266 yards of total offense and 21 minutes and 20 seconds of possession time.

The worst part for Rodgers and Hackett, though, was perhaps the moment that the cameras caught Rodgers looking away and seemingly ignoring Hackett when he was explaining some offensive plays.

There have been plenty of instances in the past where the pair have not seen eye-to-eye and Rodgers is known for changing Hackett’s plays at the last moment on the field when he doesn’t agree with them.
