Doja Cat has pathetic four-word reaction to ‘terrible’ Oscars 2025 performance of Diamonds Are Forever
Doja Cat had a hilarious four word response after her ‘terrible’ performance of Diamonds Are Forever at Sunday’s Oscars 2025.
The popstar, 29, who is best known for her rapping, boldly took on the Shirley Bassey anthem at the Hollywood awards show, but was blasted over her rendition of the 1971 hit in a performance alongside Lisa, 37, who sang Live and Let Die and Raye, 27, who belted out Skyfall.
Doja was heard struggling on some of the higher notes with one fan writing: ‘Doja Cat sounds like a dead cat’ but the star took the criticism with good grace as she returned to social media.
In an emotional post on social media on Monday, the star quipped: ‘B***h hit some flats’ as she reflected on the performance.
She wrote: ‘Thanks to the Academy Awards and Vanity Fair for having me.’
‘I never get to sing like that and what I did was brave and scary as f**k for me,’ she explained to her critics and fans.
