Whatever he does is always talked about and Pat McAfee’s content is always good. With that said, someone has reason to believe that a big reason behind that is because he is high most of the time, at least that is what former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf thinks.
McAfee, a former NFL punter with the Indianapolis Colts, did a lot of crazy and funny things during his trip to Ireland for the college football season opener in Dublin between Florida State University and Georgia Tech.
Pat McAfee admitted he took 100 mg of edibles, and he even had a few beers that were sponsored by Guinness during the days he was there recording promos, stories and also after the game.
This practice happens a lot according to Ryan Leaf
In the past, former San Diego Chargers first-round pick Ryan Leaf has talked about Pat McAfee and his show in the past criticizing his ways. Now, after Pat’s actions once again has sparked comments from Leaf.
Leaf, a former college football analyst on ESPN, alleged in a post on X that McAfee was “high 80% of the time on his TV show it’s said!! [sic],” and then went on the “Outkick Hot Mic” show to talk how Pat had partially been responsible for ESPN ousting him in the middle of the 2023 college football season.
“I get it, I get it. You got $85 million people (McAfee’s contract) scaring you. You got to fall in line. I understand that, on my end of things,” he said during the interview last Tuesday, where he also called McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit “overly sensitive” and “narcissists.”
