THE Taylor Swift effect is real for Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kelce and Swift have been public with their relationship for almost a year, and it seems her presence at Chiefs games throughout the 2023 NFL season made their mark.

The team, and the sport as a whole, has seen a huge popularity boost thanks to the Swifties

As for the Chiefs, they too have seemingly felt the Swift effect in full swing since she and Kelce became official.

All in all, Swift cheered on Kelce and Co. at 13 of their 21 games last season.

It all began with Kansas City’s 41-10 home win against the Chicago Bears in Week 3.

Her final appearance came at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas as the Chiefs captured their third Super Bowl in four years in a 15-6 overtime win against the San Francisco 49ers.

In total, the Chiefs went 10-3 in games that Swift attended, and 3-2 in those she missed, giving them a winning percentage of 72, as per CoinPoker.

However, in the 18 games before the happy couple went public, Kansas City had a record of 17-1 – for a 94 percent win rate.

But while their regular season stats may look less than promising, the same can’t be said for the postseason.

Swift missed just one playoff game last season – Kansas City’s 14-6 AFC Championship win against the Baltimore Ravens.

With the Cruel Summer singer in the stands, the Chiefs went 3-0 in what was a tough schedule against the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and the 49ers.

Records aside, fans remain vehemently behind their team, with belief still strong that the Chiefs can return to the Super Bowl again in February 2025.

“Calling it now Chiefs 17-0 three-peat in coming,” one fan tweeted.

“Time for that three-peat,” said a second.

“Chiefs three-peat, Houston [Texans] and Baltimore only 2 in AFC who can knock them out of playoffs,” added another.

While a fourth predicted, “AFC: Chiefs vs Texans…NFC: [Detroit] Lions vs 49ers…Super Bowl: Chiefs vs 49ers.”

Swift and Kelce’s 2024 schedules

If Kansas City were to win Super Bowl LIX, not only would it mark their fourth win in six years, but they would also become the first team to ever win three in a row.

This pursuit of another Lombardi Trophy win will begin on September 5 when the Chiefs host the Ravens in the season opener at Arrowhead Stadium.

Whether or not Swift will be in attendance is unclear.

However, the European leg of her blockbuster Eras Tour has recently come to a conclusion following her final performance at Wembley Stadium in London on August 20.

Marking her return to the US, Kelce spent an eye-watering $31,416 on 51 boxes of red roses, as exclusively reported by The U.S. Sun.

Kelce also penned a moving note for Swift to go with the roses, reading: “Making history, congratulations, legend. Enjoy tonight as if it was the first concert ever. It will be another unbelievable show!”

Swift will not be back on tour until October 18 when she is scheduled to perform in Miami.
