GENE Hackman’s wife’s mother was worried sick after her daughter Betsy Arakawa reportedly did not call her for four months before her shocking death.

The two-time Oscar winner, 95, was found dead alongside wife, 65, and their dog in their plush $3.8 million Santa Fe mansion.

Yoshie Feaster, 91, who lives in Hawaii, had always received regular monthly phone calls from her daughter.

But there were growing concerns after Betsy’s calls abruptly stopped, MailOnline reported.

Keiko, the longtime housekeeper for Yoshie, revealed that Betsy had not checked in since October, leaving her mother’s household increasingly worried.

“We were thinking, what happened?” said Keiko.

Yoshie was informed by New Mexico police on Wednesday that her daughter had passed away.

Due to her dementia, Yoshie has already forgotten the devastating news.

“She talked to a New Mexico policeman the other day. But she has dementia so she forgot already. I feel so sorry for her,” Keiko said.

“She was very upset. But right now she’s kind of normal.”

Hackman, 95, and Arakawa, 64, were found dead in their Santa Fe home, their bodies in a state of partial “mummification” due to the region’s dry winter climate.

Police fear the bodies could have been lying there for days before being discovered.

Hackman was found in a mud room off the kitchen, with his sunglasses and cane nearby.

Arakawa was discovered in the couple’s bathroom, while their German shepherd was found dead in a nearby closet.

Santa Fe Sheriff Adan Mendoza said on Friday that Hackman may have been lying dead since February 17, noting that the actor’s pacemaker had stopped working on that date.

However, it remains unclear if the couple passed away simultaneously.

“There’s no indication that anyone was moving about the house or doing anything different, so it’s very difficult to determine if they both passed at the same time or how close they passed together,” Mendoza said.

While authorities continue to investigate, they await the results of an autopsy and toxicology report, which could take some time.

The presence of thyroid medication and angina blocker Diltiazem at the scene has raised questions, though no gas leak or signs of foul play were found.

“That’s obviously very important evidence at the scene,” Sheriff Mendoza said.

Though there are still many questions surrounding the exact cause of death, authorities have ruled out foul play.

It now leaves the investigation focused on determining whether health issues or environmental factors contributed to the couple’s tragic passing.
