With every singer and star wanting to get a hug from him, it appears that the rising star will return to American Idol. But instead of being a guest mentor, the singer will hold the title “Artist in Residence.”
Sharing the news in a promo video for the new season of American Idol, Jelly Roll quickly reconnects with host Ryan Seacrest when he lifts him up.
