Josh Allen Praised for What He Did Before Super Bowl LIX
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was awarded the 2024 NFL MVP Trophy at the NFL Honors on Thursday night.
Though Allen and the Bills aren’t playing in Super Bowl LIX following their AFC Championship loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the superstar QB is still making a great use of his time on Sunday.
Before Sunday’s championship game, Allen took the time to visit with a child in the Make-A-Wish program.
Following the ceremony, Allen shared a tearful message directly with Bills fans, known as “Bills Mafia,” saying, “I just watched the sappy video, so I’m crying a little bit. Love you guys.”
“There are so many things he does without sending out a press release for publicity. Today, Josh Allen surprised a wishes-in-waiting kid from the Texas Gulf Coast Louisiana Chapter of Make-A-Wish after he went through a cool experience of games and fun. Dylan exited to see the NFL MVP,” John Anderson of CAA Football wrote on X.
NFL fans flooded the comments with respect for Allen’s classy pre-Super Bowl gesture.
“I’m not that type of guy but for him to look this tired (understandable) and still go through and do these things, what an unbelievable person and I’m so happy to have him on the team I root for,” one fan wrote.
“That’s my MVP of a person,” another added.
“We love you Josh. Keep being your most authentic , genuine self. You were worth the wait. Go Bills,” another said.
