Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn Brown, set social media abuzz after teasing a brand-new duet called “Even Death Won’t Do Us Apart.”
The power couple dropped a snippet of the demo on Wednesday evening (Oct. 11), just one day ahead of their fifth wedding anniversary. Fans got a taste of the first verse and chorus and it appears the beloved country couple has yet another hit on their hands.
“Even Death Won’t Do Us Apart” Lyrics
“Long after that sun burns out that sky/ Long after that ocean don’t turn the tide/ One thing is true, I’ll be loving you,” Kane sings.
Katelyn joins in, “One day when the mountains and the valleys align/ I’ll still be yours and you’ll still be mine/ One thing is true, I’ll be loving you.”
They harmonize on the chorus as they croon over their everlasting love for one another. “A love like this will live on I know/ So even on the day that he calls me home/ no I won’t be far/ Even death won’t do us apart/ I’m taking everyday that forever will give, in this life and the life after this/ hang a hat on your heart/ Even death won’t do us apart,” they sing.

Hundreds of positive comments poured into the joint Instagram post before it was removed. “Next generations Tim & Faith/Garth & Trisha…. I’m here for it! Great job, guys! This sounds awesome,” wrote one fan. Another user declared, “That’s a hit.”
Follows Wildly Successful, “Thank God”
The duet comes months after the couple earned a No.1 single with their first-ever duet, “Thank God.” Co-written by Josh Hoge, Jaxson Free, Kyle Fishman, Christian Davis, and Jared Mullins, the song became Brown’s ninth chart-topper at country radio.
They brought the song to life with a stunning music video that later earned the title of Video of the Year at the 2023 CMT Music Awards. It was an emotional moment for the pair.
“Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. I am, first off I’m so nervous. This is all so new to me and when we recorded this song a year ago, I never in my life would ever think that this was ever gonna happen,” Katelyn shared from the stage during her acceptance speech. “But I just wanna say thank you so much to my amazing husband, I love you. This is so special that we get to share this together every night. I love you so much.”
Performance Debut On The CMT Music Awards
The pair also had the opportunity to perform “Thank God” during the 2023 CMT Music Awards, marking the television debut of the song.

In the fall of 2022, Kane Brown promised to release more duets with Katelyn.
“There will definitely be another song with us in the future,” he teased during an interview with E! Online. “We’re gonna write another song and release it. We just want it to be better than this one.”
He also opened up about why he thinks “Thank God” resonated with fans, telling the publication: “I think it’s just because it’s a true love story. It’s not two artists who are singing it to each other and have no future with each other. I feel like people can relate to that. Plus, it’s a beautiful song.”
