Katt Williams Takes Aim at Diddy Amidst Legal Troubles, Continues Relentless Jokes
Comedian Katt Williams is at it again, using his platform to relentlessly poke fun at music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently embroiled in a series of legal controversies. Ever since Diddy’s arrest and the media frenzy that followed, Williams hasn’t missed a beat. From jokes about “1,000 bottles of baby oil” allegedly seized from Diddy’s home to calling out his lawyer’s incompetence, Williams’ comedic jabs have struck a nerve.
In a new clip from one of his recent performances, Williams takes it a step further by roasting celebrities who attended Diddy’s infamous parties. “You know how many celebrities went to Diddy’s house thinking they was finna dance?” Williams quipped. “You a grown man, leaving Diddy’s party like that? Can’t even sit down in the car on the way home.”
The clip, which was re-shared by The Art of Dialogue on Twitter, quickly ignited social media reactions. One user referenced Williams’ viral interview on Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe, writing, “You got to tell him no,” alluding to avoiding Diddy’s invites. Another user commented, “He’s been waiting for this moment ever since he turned one of those parties down.”
Diddy, currently facing charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, has been hit with 120 additional lawsuits from accusers. Despite the mounting allegations, his mother, Janice Combs, has come forward to defend her son, claiming that Diddy is being unfairly judged by the media and deserves his day in court.
In her statement, Janice Combs expressed heartbreak over the allegations, describing them as a “public lynching” of her son. She also addressed a 2016 incident involving Diddy and Cassie, acknowledging that while Diddy wasn’t entirely truthful about the matter, it doesn’t make him guilty of the other accusations.
As the legal drama unfolds, many celebrities seem to be distancing themselves from Diddy. French Montana, reportedly a close friend, has wiped all photos of Diddy from his Instagram. Even Leonardo DiCaprio, whose old party photos with Diddy have resurfaced, is keeping his distance.
Despite the serious nature of the case, Williams remains one of the few entertainers openly cracking jokes about it. With more high-profile names potentially being impliKatted, the silence from other celebrities is notable. Attorney Tony Buzbee, representing the new accusers, has hinted that many more well-known figures could be named in upcoming lawsuits.
So, what do you think of Katt Williams’ continued jabs at Diddy? Is he simply capitalizing on the moment, or is there something more?
