Kyrie Irving may have had some nerves facing his former team on Saturday night as he injured a young Dallas Mavericks fan who was sitting in the front row.
Irving and the Mavs lost 122-107 to the Boston Celtics, with his frustrations amplified as he threw an errant pass that left the kid bleeding.
The point guard has an impressive bag; in fact, it’s been rated as the best in the history of the game, as he tends to make the basketball an extension of his body. Still, he threw it into someone else’s face while attempting a pass during Saturday’s game. And that someone wasn’t even in the game.

Social Media Refused To Blame Kyrie Irving
The clip has generated loads of comments on social media, with most users suggesting that the kid would have been alright had he been keeping his eyes on the game, which is fair. The front row is not the safest place to be when you’re at a basketball game.
“imagine if it was a boston fan😭,” a user joked.

Kyrie Irving dropped 22 points to lead the Mavs in scoring, adding five assists in his 41 minutes on the night. He shot 11 of 23 from the field, missing all of his attempts from long distance.
His night was compounded by the fact that a kid had to leave the arena nursing a facial injury.
But the youngster is likely to get autographed items or some other gifts for his trouble.
