Clark’s Indiana Fever teammate, Aliyah Boston, a two-time WNBA All-Star, candidly addressed the incident during an appearance on In Case You Missed It with Khristina Williams.

“It was super, super scary,” Boston told ‘In Case You Missed It’

“People just try to find their way to continue speaking, and sometimes it gets to a different level, like it did with Caitlin.”

Proactive measures for player safety

The incident prompted swift action from organizations like the Indiana Fever and the Unrivaled League, who have made significant strides to enhance player safety. Boston acknowledged these efforts.

“The Fever and Unrivaled have taken precautions to make sure we’re all safe. If you have any problems, you can reach out.”

Boston also emphasized the importance of athletes voicing their concerns.

“You want to live your everyday life, but you have to keep an eye on what’s happening. Don’t be afraid to say, ‘Hey, someone said something weird to me,'” she said.

Balancing normalcy with vigilance remains a challenge for professional athletes, but Boston‘s perspective sheds light on the reality of their lives under constant scrutiny.

Despite the off-court challenges, the partnership between Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston has been nothing short of electrifying. The duo has elevated the Indiana Fever’s performance, delivering unforgettable moments throughout the season.

Boston described their potential together.

“I feel like there’s no ceiling when it comes to us and the Fever franchise,” she concluded.

This chemistry was evident in standout games like their victory against the Atlanta Dream, where Clark tallied 26 points and 12 assists, while Boston achieved a career-best 30 points and 13 rebounds.
