Lara Trump’s new show on Fox News was a hit, seeing record high viewership numbers.
The 42-year-old wife of Eric Trump has returned to Fox News for her new weekend show, My View with Lara Trump. The show aired its first episode Saturday at 9 p.m. ET, and it has apparently done very well for the station.
On the show, she spoke with special guests, including White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. She also chatted with Attorney General Pam Bondi and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, as they discussed what is the “biggest threat” to the American people.
The first episode saw 2.4 million viewers, which beat out every other show on cable television over the weekend. It was the most watched 9 p.m. ET Saturday hour since Donald Trump was nearly shot in Butler, Pennsylvania, according to Barrett Media.

Of the viewers, 290,000 of them were in the demographic of 25 to 54-year-olds. Her show took over the spot of One Nation with Brian Kilmeade, which moved to Sundays at 10 p.m. ET. That show earned 1.8 million viewers in its Sunday debut.
Viewers flocked to social media to share their thoughts on the new show, with some saying she only received the spot because of her family connections. One person said: “Lol all your guests are Fox only guests, who can’t handle the media beyond the warm cozy Fox embrace – wow your viewers are sheep begging for affirmation from Lara Trump.”
Another wrote: “Lara only has a show on Fox News because of nepotism. She’d be nowhere without riding on the coattails of the Trump name.” And a third chimed in: “Ahhh…. good old nepotism. Lara would be working a bath and body works if she hadn’t married Trump’s slow son.”
But not everyone felt that way. Some are eager to see her on their screens every Saturday.
“Lara you were FANTASTIC! Your show brings a new view into politics and the Trump White House. Your style is so very conversational, relaxed, engaging yet very professional. I am looking forward to Saturday nights with Lara. May God continue to protect &bless you and your family,” one fan wrote.
