LeBron James is entering his 22nd season in the NBA after starting his NBA career in the 2003 season. Moreover, his eldest son, Bronny James, also entered the league, letting the father and son be the lone active father-son duo in the NBA.
Despite his lengthy career, LeBron shows no signs of slowing down. In a recent appearance on the “Club520 podcast,” hosted by former NBA player Jeff Teague, DeMar DeRozan and Teague discussed LeBron’s remarkable athleticism and dominance on the court. DeRozan spoke highly of LeBron’s skills while reflecting on the difficulty of facing him.
“Yeah, that motherf***er was impossible to beat. It’s just what it was; there was no other way around it. At that time, I have arguments with people because they ask me which Bron was the best—that Miami ‘Bron and that second Cleveland Bron,” DeRozan said.
Teague shared a memorable experience from his time with the Indiana Pacers. He recalled a game in which the Pacers had a significant lead against LeBron’s team and described how LeBron’s presence was still a game-changer.
“I’ve never won a playoff game against him! One time we were up 30. I swear to God, we were up 30. I was playing for the Pacers, game 3. I’m like, ‘I finally beat this dude!’ He’s walking at halftime and says, ‘We good, we good. Y’all, everybody, keep your heads up,’” Teague said.
Tracy McGrady Snubs LeBron James from the All-Time Top Scorer List
Tracy McGrady has shared his personal list of the top five NBA scorers of all time, and surprisingly, LeBron James did not make the cut.
McGrady’s list includes Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Carmel Anthony, McGrady himself, and Kevin Durant. Nevertheless, James is coming off winning his third gold medal with Team USA and winning the MVP of the Paris Olympics.
Earlier, James’ Los Angeles Lakers had a disappointing season, with the Denver Nuggets advancing past them in the NBA playoffs.
However, the Lakers star averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 8.3 assists over 71 regular-season games. In the Western Conference First Round, he averaged 27.8 points, 8.8 assists, and 6.8 rebounds across five games against the Nuggets.
