Megyn Kelly Takes a Victory Lap After MSNBC’s Shocking Firing of Joy Reid—Her Brutal Reaction Says It All
Megyn Kelly made it clear she has little sympathy for fellow host Joy Reid, whose MSNBC show was canceled this week, calling her the “worst person on television”

The network announced this week that it would cancel the Joy Reid show as part of an overhaul under the new administration. Since 2020, Reid has hosted the left-leaning show The ReidOut on MSNBC, discussing political news and events. However, she struggled to defend her progressive views during last year’s presidential campaign.
Now, Reid will step down from the post, and conservative podcaster Megyn Kelly couldn’t be more thrilled. The host of The Megyn Kelly Show gleefully took to X: “Remember when Joy Reid laughingly mocked ‘white women tears’ as pathetic and offensive to her? Who’s crying now, Joy?”
“Good riddance to the absolute worst person on television, and shame on NBC for letting it go on this long.”
Kelly’s comments address a controversy from 2021, stemming from the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse, who was found not guilty in the fatal shooting of two people during protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Reid ridiculed him over his emotional testimony in court, comparing it to that of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who grew emotional during a hearing while facing sexual assault allegations in 2018.
Reid said: “But in America, there’s a thing about both white vigilantism and white tears, particularly male white tears. Really, white tears in general, because that’s what Karens are, right? They Karen out, and then as soon as they get caught, it’s bring the waterworks.”
The liberal commentator opposed Trump’s bid for the presidency since before the 2020 election
Reid also caught heat for her assertion that “Black voters came through for Kamala Harris. White women voters did not,” following Trump’s victory in the polls.
Trump himself has repeatedly torn down Reid and MSNBC over the years, calling the network “fake news” and “the enemy of the people.”
Yesterday, as news broke that Reid’s show was ending, Trump celebrated on Truth Social, calling her a “mentally obnoxious racist” and “one of the least talented people in television.”
Reid’s final show is planned for sometime this week, a source familiar with the changes told the Post.
