Some may say the Indiana Fever star has a wide advantage on the Chicago Sky rookie. For Friday’s game btween both teams, pepple were excited to see a very familiar face in professional basketball.

He’s kinda hard to miss, we are talking about NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal. He was present in the game that took place at Wintrust Arena, he was there to support his protege Angel Reese. Caitlin Clark overpowers Angel Reese for ROY

If Angel Reese wanted to have a chance at winning Rookie of the Year this season, she needed to at least make a statement while facing her most important rival in this race for the award. But Caitlin Clark is a force to be reckoned with. By the end of the third quarter, Clark already had 20+ points and Angel Reese was only sitting with 5.

It soon became evident by the start of the fourth quarter that Caitlin Clark clearly has the upper hand in this race for Rookie of the Year. After Friday’s game from both rookies, Angel Reese was a disappointment but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a brilliant career ahead of her. It just means that this season, Caitlin Clark has been the better player.

Cameron Brink was also a potential contender for the award but she picked up an injury that has kept her away from the game for a large number of games now. Despite his constant support for Angel Reese, Shaq now realized first hand how much better Caitlin Clark has been this season. But fear not, big man.

You will likely get to enjoy Angel Reese’s career despite what happens this season. We are still in front of a future WNBA star who will only continue improving as she keeps gaining experience. Clark started off with multiple obstacles and she’s been able to overcome them in brilliant fashion.
