Angel Reese drops shocking thoughts on Caitlin Clark

Clark, who recorded her second triple-double of the season, has caught O’Neal‘s attention.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, the former Los Angeles Lakers star admitted: “(Clark) does everything right. I never spoke about her (before) because Angel (Reese) is my girl, but I can truthfully say Caitlin Clark is for real.

“I’m watching her play, and I’m trying to be upset, but she makes the right pass, makes the right play. Girls try to beat her up, and she doesn’t really complain. She’s a great one, even early on (in her career).”

Clark in MVP conversation

While Reese has been O’Neal‘s favorite, Clark‘s incredible performance has made her the frontrunner for the Rookie of the Year award.

Statistically, Clark surpasses Reese in nearly every category except rebounding, and her recent form has led to her being discussed in MVP conversations.

“She’s the real deal,” O’Neal continued. “Much respect to her and her family and the way she grew up and the way she plays.

“All little girls should watch all the WNBA players, but those two (Clark and Reese) are my favorite.”

Despite his loyalty to ReeseO’Neal‘s recognition of Clark‘s talent highlights the impact both rookies have made on the league, showcasing their potential as future stars in women’s basketball.
