Simone Biles’ Shocking Money earned from three Golds at Olympics 2024 are causing UPROAR from the Internet for how SHAMEFUL it is

SIMONE Biles’ Olympics journey has come to an end as the gymnast snagged four total medals – but fans are more shocked at the profit she earns from her wins.

For Americans competing in the Olympics each gold medal will earn them $37,500, while a silver will net the athlete a profit of $22,500, and a bronze medalist will secure $15,000, according to Forbes.

Biles won gold medals in Women’s Artistic Individual All-Around, Women’s Artistic Team All-Around, and Women’s Vault.

The 27-year-old gymnast also secured a silver medal on Monday in the Women’s Floor event.

Biles will receive a total of $135,000 from Team USA’s medal payout system.

Fans have taken to social media to slam the way Biles and others have been paid.

“Do you know the Olympics pays athletes nothing?” questioned one fan.

“The best athletes in the world! NOTHING!

“The Olympics makes billions of dollars every four years, name a bigger scam, I’ll wait!”

“I was just reading about Olympian salaries and it’s honestly disgusting that the Olympics don’t pay more,” raged a second fan

“It seems like if you’re not winning medals you get no money.”

“It’s shameful,” complained a third.

Simone Biles makes history and confirms GOAT status after leading Team USA gymnastics to Olympics gold
Biles is considered one of the most decorated United States gymnasts of all-time winning 11 Olympic medals.

The 27-year-old secured four gold medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics and won just a single bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Games.

“I’ve accomplished way more than my wildest dreams, not just at this Olympics, but in the sport, so I can’t be mad at my performances,” Biles said after winning her final medal and failing to make the podium in the balance beam.

“A couple of years ago, I didn’t think I’d be back here at an Olympic Games.”

Like most Olympic athletes Biles will earn a substantial amount of money through endorsements and other activities.

‘Mother hen’ Biles

Simone Biles’ first coach Aimee Boorman exclusively told The U.S. Sun that she thinks Biles will be spurred by a new role this year.

“Having younger teammates benefits her because she has stepped in as the mother hen figure,” said Aimee.

“And so she has to tell them to stay calm. You’ve got this. You’re prepared. And so as she’s saying it, she’s also hearing it.

“You always have tiny kids that come into the gym, but they’re never ripped like Simone was,” she said.

“I know she was very self-conscious about it growing up. But from a coaching perspective, it was great.

“I didn’t think that Simone would be a multi gold medal athlete straight away.

“But she did stand out because she was very tiny, but very muscular.”

Biles is set to headline a nationwide 30-leg gymnastics tour.

The Gold Over America Tour will be held in major NBA and NHL arenas across the United States.

GOAT will start on September 17 and end on November 3 with tickets available for purchase now.

Biles will be joined by U.S. teammates, including Jordan Chiles and Jade Carey, and more on the tour.

The tour will be sponsored by Athleta, the Gap-owned women’s apparel brand that Biles has a contract with.

Athleta lured Biles away from an expiring Nike deal in 2021.

The star gymnast also has endorsement deals in place with Visa and the hair product brand K18.

Biles did not rule out one last run for the 2028 Summer Games which will take place in Los Angeles, California.

“Never say never,” Biles said.

“Next Olympics are at home so you just never know, I am getting really old.”
