Taylor Swift and Caitlin Clark’s Chiefs Fandom Erupts in Scandal as Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe Launch Scathing Taunts
Will Clark go back to Taylor’s suite for the AFC Championship game?

The Chiefs’ 23-14 win over the Texans in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs featured the one and only Caitlin Clark. The Indiana Fever’s and WNBA Rookie of the Year spent the entire game in the box with Taylor Swift, his boyfriend Connor and the Kelce family. Clark has been a fan of the Chiefs and Swift for years, so it’s likely that this day was a dream come true for the birthday girl, who just turned 23 a few days ago. The win put the Chiefs one win away from their fifth Super Bowl appearance in the last seven seasons, the same amount of time Patrick Mahomes has been the team’s quarterback. But now they face the Bills, the only team to beat them in the last 22 games the Chiefs have played. I’m not counting the last regular season game against the Broncos because the Chiefs starters didn’t play.
Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe Mocking Clark and Swift
Clark had a stellar debut season in the WNBA, averaging 20 points and leading the league with 8.4 assists per game. She has also raised the global profile of women’s basketball and helped the WNBA achieve record-breaking television ratings, merchandise sales and sellout crowds. Without a doubt, Clark is the face of women’s basketball, which is why Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce invited her. You may recall that a few weeks ago, Clark was a guest on the Kelce brothers’ podcast “New Heights,” where she shared her knowledge of the NFL. The union of these two celebrities was discussed on the “A Touch More” podcast hosted by Sue Bird & Megan Rapinoe.
No doubt it’s Clark’s turn to invite the most popular couple in sports to one of her games. It would be a great boost for the league if Swift and Kelce attended a game, because while celebrities do attend some games, most of them are NBA athletes. To have Taylor and Kelce in a game is something even the NBA dream of. I believe this season will be better for the Fever and Clark, who led the Indiana Fever to their first playoff appearance since 2016. The team also posted its highest win total (20) since 2015.
Chiefs Close to Making History
The Chiefs will be playing in their seventh consecutive AFC Championship game, one shy of the NFL record held by the Patriots. A win would send the team to the Super Bowl, and if they win, they would become the first team in NFL history to win three straight. It’s true that they first have to beat the Bills and likely MVP Josh Allen, who beat the Chiefs in Week 11 during the regular season. The bad news for the Bills is that Mahomes is undefeated against Allen in the playoffs (3-0). With both teams tied in their last 10 meetings – each winning five games, scoring 251 points and allowing 251 points – the stage is set for another epic battle in Kansas City.
