While rumors continue to swirl about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s alleged relationship problems, other people are starting to show up in the life of the Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end. Kelce, who during the offseason was dedicated to partying and partying at the slightest provocation, also debuted as an actor in Hulu’s Grotesquerie, where he made new friendships that have nothing to do with the world of the NFL.
Taylor Swift was absent from the Chiefs’ most recent game against the Chargers, but Travis had the support of one person who took the time to go to the stadium and support him: Niecy Nash.

Travis expressed his gratitude for the support he received from Nash. He couldn’t help but gush about her, saying, “Niecy’s awesome. Great too. Niecy made it to the LA game. How about that? She came out and supported me at the Chargers game. Was cool seeing her on the sideline.”
It’s clear that their bond goes beyond just being co-stars. Niecy also shared her excitement about supporting Travis, saying, “When he comes here to play, my better half and I will be at that game. So yes, I’m going to get to see him, but also I saw him play in the Super Bowl. But we didn’t know each other then. Now it’s different. At first, it was just like the game and now it’s like, ‘Oh, there’s my friend Travis. Hey Travis!’ That’s different. It’s personal now.“
Kelce and Nash’s growing bond on ‘Grotesquerie’
Their friendship blossomed while working together on the set of Grotesquerie. Niecy fondly recalled the reactions of the crew members to Travis, saying, “It was funny because I saw people’s reaction to him before I really could take him in. All the guys – these big guys on the set, the grips, transport, and everybody – [they] were just fangirling all the way out. And I’m like, ‘Oh my god, guys.’ But Travis was lovely to have on set. Very charming, very fun.“
Travis also received glowing reviews from Niecy about his professionalism and demeanor on set. She mentioned, “He was very professional, always came prepared. He’s extra greedy, so he eats.” It’s evident that their camaraderie extends beyond the screen, and their support for each other goes beyond the confines of their professional relationship.
Travis’ gratitude for Niecy’s support shines through in his words, and it’s heartwarming to see their genuine friendship and mutual admiration for each other. It’s not every day that co-stars go above and beyond to support each other outside of work, and their bond serves as a testament to the strong connections formed in the entertainment industry.
