Shocking: This Television Channel in Mexico dares to do this to Liam Payne’s Body – Such Disrespect to Both The Artist and His Fans!

Televisa’s “Hoy” program is in trouble once again, after showing images of the body of the late Liam Payne on national television and in family time.

This caused outrage and annoyance among the Mexican fans of the British singer, who was part of the boy band “One Direction” between 2010 and 2016.

On social media, users criticized “Hoy” and even asked its audience to stop watching the program for encouraging morbid curiosity and profiting from a tragedy.

Liam Payne fans send letter to the Today show

Liam Payne’s fan club in Mexico sent a letter to the production of the morning show and also to the Federal Telecommunications Commission to state their position on what happened.

The letter reads as follows: “We are writing to you in order to express our disagreement on a topic addressed in your television program Hoy, since on October 23 of this year, during the broadcast of the morning show, the limits of an informative note were exceeded by inciting morbid curiosity, as the codes of ethics for the media were exceeded”.

They accused “Hoy” of shamelessly profiting from Payne’s death: “All this as a consequence of showing the insensitive photos of the body of the British singer-songwriter Liam James Payne, who died on October 16 in Argentina; they had no awareness of how this could affect the sensitivity of the audience as it can be the emotional damage and profit from the death of the aforementioned”.

Finally, they demanded a public apology to the memory of the artist and his family in these difficult times: “As fans, we demand a public apology and that these images are not continued to be disseminated, out of respect for the memory of the artist and the privacy and sensitivity of the family”.

What was the cause of Liam Payne’s death?

Liam Payne died after falling from a third floor at a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He suffered polytrauma and both internal and external bleeding in his body.

After the corresponding autopsy was performed, drugs such as cocaine, benzodiazepines and crack were found in the body.
