The View co-host took the eyelash blunder in stride, sharing the situation with her 125,000 Instagram followers.
Alyssa posted a short video of herself to her Instagram Story showing the mishap, zooming in and looking down so her followers and fans could get a better look.
One of her false eyelash strips had fallen off, giving her lashes a lopsided look.
“One eyelash came off right before my hit,” she captioned the photo.
“Do I take the other off or let one gal flutter?” she questioned.
Alyssa also included crying laughing and thinking face emojis in her caption, letting everyone know she was laughing off the ordeal.
Besides the minor make-up mishap, Alyssa looked camera-ready as usual.
She paired a professional orange, long-sleeved dress with a bronzed, contoured face, smokey eyes, full brows, and a glossy pink lip.
Never one to have a bad hair day, she completed her look with her signature wavy curls.
Alyssa joined CNN as a political contributor in 2021 and continues to be outspoken about politics on both The View and various segments on CNN.
Her makeup malfunction occurred while she filmed a segment for CNN’s The Source with Kaitlan Collins.
Alyssa, a former White House Director of Strategic Communications and Assistant to the President in 2020, was joined by:
Kaitlan Collins, the show’s host
Bill de Blasio, the former Mayor of New York City, and
Natasha Alford, a senior correspondent for theGrio.
Despite her ongoing work for CNN, Alyssa isn’t leaving The View anytime soon.
