The View’s Whoopi Goldberg threaten to punch men

The View‘s Whoopi Goldberg threaten to punch men in the face if they ever say this ONE word – Fans divided over the shocking taunt

“Grow up,” Goldberg said. “Black people are not going anywhere, women are not going anywhere, gay people are not going anywhere, trans people are not going anywhere!”

The Whoopi Goldberg War Room™ did not explicitly spring into military action on Monday, but its commander did issue a stern warning to any “little young men” who might think of crossing a woman with misogynist language in the near future.

During a Hot Topics discussion about past problematic statements made by controversial social media personality Andrew Tate, the talk show moderator and EGOT-winning Ghost and Sister Act actress criticized “anonymous folks” who feel emboldened — perhaps because of people like Tate — to “say all that stuff when you’re not in front of a woman,” but would never say it to a woman’s face.

“This is 2025, y’all. And those things, those ideas that you have? You’re just not going to get away with them, because all of those little young men who say, ‘Your body, my choice,’ they don’t say them to real people, they don’t say them to real women,” the 69-year-old observed.

Cohost Sunny Hostin added that their sentiment is still alarming, as “they have a huge social media following” that might indicate broader support for their perspective.

“Yes, but there are many people who feel like that’s okay. But what I’m saying is, it’s 2025, and you can be in your feelings if you want to. I would not recommend walking up to any woman and saying any of this, because there’s no guarantee that you will leave the situation with your teeth intact,” Goldberg replied. “I’m just saying. It’s 2025. Grow up. The world is changing.”

She went on to stress that, “Black people are not going anywhere, women are not going anywhere, gay people are not going anywhere, trans people are not going anywhere,” because “this is our country,” too.

“And you know how we know? We know it’s our country because we’re allowed to be who we are,” Goldberg finished. “You can try to remove all the books and do all of that, but you’re not going to kill the spirit. The spirit lives, y’all.”

Goldberg spoke later in the episode to The View guest and trans social media star Dylan Mulvaney about similar issues regarding conservative pushback against marginalized groups — particularly trans people. Mulvaney urged fellow members of the trans community to remember that the parts that transphobic people criticize are often “the best parts” of trans people as a whole.
