Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has been vocal about her frustration with ongoing dating rumors throughout the 2024 WNBA season.

Whether she’s spotted courtside with NBA stars such as Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry or simply enjoying a vacation, people have been quick to link her to others without any concrete evidence.

Angel Reese reveals how she splurges and manages her money

After being seen with Durant during an Olympic exhibition game, rumors swirled that they were dating. Similarly, she was linked to Detroit Pistons player Jalen Duren, based on speculation they were vacationing together.

Reese took to social media to express her frustration, agreeing with a fan who pointed out the unfair scrutiny.

“Angel can’t be around nobody without yall alleging she dating them,” the fan wrote.

Reese quoted the post and responded: “It’s getting weird…”

Focused on her career

In response to the constant rumors, Reese addressed the issue on her podcast, making it clear that attending Chicago Bulls games in the offseason doesn’t mean she’s romantically involved with any of their players. For the young athlete, it’s been exhausting to constantly clarify her personal life, but it’s a reality she now faces.

Despite the baseless gossip, Reese remains focused on her career, while calling out the unwanted attention on her personal life.

“I’ll be pulling up to Chicago Bulls games,” she noted.

“That don’t mean I’m messing with any of the Chicago Bulls players. … So yeah, I’m looking forward to my offseason.”
