Tom Brady is about to start his new gug as a Fox Sports analyst in the NFL season that is about to begin.
He has been doing media tours to different cities in the United States and getting mentally prepared for this new chapter in his life.
But there is another chapter of his life as an NFL team owner that could also be about to begin. Tom Brady could see how things complicate for him as he won’t be able to openly criticize any referee if his status as a Las Vegas Raiders co-owner is confirmed.
Since the month of May, Tom Brady has tried to get approved as the Raiders’ co-owner but his approval has been delayed while the financial terms of the agreement are settled.

Amid his two new roles converging, we could be looking at a potential conflict of interest with Tom Brady and any comments he makes against any of the NFL referees during his broadcasts.
This past week, there was an owners meeting in the city of Minneapolis where they discussed Brady’s role.
According to ESPN’s Seth Wickersham, the league did hold a press conference for all team owners that revealed the obstacles Brady would face as a broadcaster if he becomes part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
ESPN were the ones who notified the following rule that will only apply to Tom Brady if his co-ownership is approved: “The league confirmed to ESPN that among the restrictions, Brady would not be permitted to be in another team’s facility, would not be permitted to witness practice and would not be permitted to attend broadcast production meetings, either in person or virtually.
The lack of access to coaches and players before games could be the most severe restriction; those meetings, at which a broadcast crew meets with the matchup’s head coaches and key players, are often a lifeblood of insight for the telecast.”
