Travis Kelce gave Taylor Swift a shout-out when meeting a fan at the Kansas City Chiefs training camp.
Travis Kelce knows his new demo. The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end had an endearing reaction to a fan who became visibly starstruck when meeting him during the team’s training camp.
In a video posted on TikTok on Sunday, one visitor hailed him as “a legit great guy” while sharing their interaction during the Chiefs’ friends and family day.
“Dude, you just took my wife’s breath away,” the person holding the camera joked. “Literally she just almost died there.”
Without missing a beat, the athlete chalked it up to “the Taylor Swift effect.”
Back in June, Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, acknowledged on the duo’s New Heights podcast that he’s also experienced a shift in his fan-related experiences over the last year after Travis and Taylor went public with their relationship.
“My demographic when I used to go outside used to be fat, hairy guys,” the Philadelphia Eagles alum said. “That used to be who, like, if I was out in public was gonna stop me and say, ‘Hey, I like you, Jason Kelce.’ Football guys. Fat, hairy guys.”
He continued, “Now, I go out in public — routinely 14-year-old little girls. That is, like, where my bread and butter’s at. Twelve to 14-year-old little girls are like, ‘Oh my God! You’re the brother of Travis dating Taylor Swift!'”
Travis couldn’t help but laugh at the comment, adding, “Nice, man! I’ll make sure I keep influencing the kids to do the right things in this world.”

It’s been one year since Travis revealed on New Heights that he tried to give Taylor his phone number when attending her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City, Missouri.
Over the course of last year’s NFL season, Swift, 34, showed her support for her boyfriend as she attended a number of his games, making her debut inside of the suites of Arrowhead Stadium in September. The “Love Story” songstress was also on hand when Kelce and the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers at the Super Bowl.
For his part, Travis has also made several appearances at the Eras Tour during his time off from football. He even made a cameo performance on stage with her at London’s Wembley Stadium in June. Most recently, he was seen in the audience during her July 18 show in in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
A source told ET in May that the couple’s loved ones see a bright future ahead.
The source told ET, “Taylor and Travis are doing amazing, and their loved ones see an engagement coming sooner than later. They make a great match and there’s no question about that.”
