The first joint collection, titled “Reebok by Angel,” debuts August 23, and is already generating buzz in the fashion and sports world. WNBA star Angel Reese and Reebok have teamed up for their first collaboration with the apparel and footwear collection that captures the essence of the Chicago Sky rookie.
Reebok’s new clothing and footwear line, includes a variety of garments ranging from bralettes to baggy pants. The collection is highlighted with iconic pieces such as the Angel Vector Track Jacket, a retro-inspired jacket, and the classic BB 4000 II, a leather running shoe that has been reinvented with Reese’s signature touch.
Other notable pieces include the Angel Lux Biker Short and Crop Top in eye-catching silver chrome, along with garments in bold colors like ice blue.
Portia Blunt, Reebok’s senior vice president of product, praised the collaboration, noting that Reese’s active involvement in the design process has been “such a special privilege.” Blunt added that “Angel is inspiring women around the world to be bold and express themselves,” and this collection reflects that inspiration.
Angel Reese has proven to be a force both on and off the court. Averaging 13.5 points and 12.0 rebounds in her first year with the Chicago Sky and a standout appearance in the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game, Reese has solidified her status as a rising star.
Her partnership with Reebok, which began in October 2023, aims to empower women and girls to “embrace their femininity and power.”
The “Reebok by Angel” not only celebrates Reese’s style, but also represents Reebok’s return to the center of fashion and pop culture. As Reese prepares for the upcoming WNBA comeback, her new collection promises to make a significant mark in both the sports and fashion worlds.
Caitlin Clark’s good deeds
Caitlin Clark has made plenty of headlines this season thanks to her play on the court in what is her rookie season for the Indiana Fever.
However, the WNBA star is also doing what she can to make sure that future generations are looked after as well courtesy of the Caitlin Clark Foundation.
What is the Caitlin Clark Foundation?
The Caitlin Clark Foundation is committed to providing food, clothes, sports gear and more to Iowa youth and communities.
Clark is passionate about supporting young adults in their pursuit of excellence, both on and off the court. Through initiatives such as educational programs, sports camps, food drives, clothing and gear donations, and community outreach, the foundation aims to make a positive impact in the lives of youth.
Beginning in 2022, the foundation is handled by Clark herself, as well as Mary Coffin, Caitlin’s brother Blake and mother Anne Nizzi-Clark.
Just last November, Clark donated winter gear worth $13,000 with the Boys and Girls Clubs in Central Iowa the beneficiaries.
Clark also extended a personal donation of $22,000, along with a $35,000 donation to the club at the record-breaking 60th Anniversary Gala.
Supermarket chain Hy-Vee, in partnership with the foundation, helps with the nutritional side of things. Under the Fuel Up Campaign, the company launched a new cereal called Caitlin’s Crunch Time.
It will be available at select outlets in Iowa, with 100 percent of the proceeds being for the welfare of the Caitlin Clark Foundation.
There is also the Stock Up Campaign, an annual donation initiative inspired by Clark’s No.22 jersey as it looked to collect $22,000. Instead, $25,000 was raised, while in 2020 the foundation received donations close to $77,000.
