Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes, isn’t one to shy away from making bold statements-whether through her style or her words.

The fitness entrepreneur recently revisited a fiery redhead look that previously set the internet abuzz. Back in April, Brittany debuted the stunning transformation on Instagram with the caption, “Feeling spicy,” which quickly garnered attention.

Though she returned to her signature blonde locks shortly after, Brittany once again shared a glimpse of her redhead look on her Instagram story, reposting a snap from hairstylist Laurabeth Cabott.

The caption read, “This was so fun,” referencing the hair transformation that captured fans’ imaginations.

However, the response wasn’t all positive. Facing a wave of online criticism, Brittany clapped back at her haters with a sharp three-word message on her Instagram story: “I mean honestly.”

She didn’t stop there, addressing the negativity directly with a scathing remark: “To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There’s no reason your brain is fully developed, and you hate to see others doing well.”

Brittany‘s pointed words suggest she’s had enough of the relentless online abuse she’s encountered. Despite the negativity, her husband, Patrick Mahomes, has remained a supportive force by her side.

When Brittany initially revealed her red locks earlier this year, Mahomes showed his appreciation by reposting her photos-highlighting his admiration for her bold style.

Brittany Mahomes Battles Online Trolls

This isn’t the first time Brittany has had to fend off online trolls. Earlier this year, she faced similar criticism after being named a 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie.

Despite the backlash, Brittany remained undeterred, sharing her excitement on Instagram with a message of resilience: “I’m here to tell you that people will dislike you, people will love you. Don’t let any of that define you. Keep SHINING and being YOU.”

Brittany‘s inclusion in the 60th-anniversary issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit was a milestone she never anticipated.
