Anatoly, a bus driver, had been facing tough times lately. The number of passengers taking his bus had dropped considerably, which was negatively affecting his income. His salary had also decreased, and the financial pressure was beginning to weigh on his shoulders. Despite all this, he tried to go about his daily routine, taking his usual route between villages, and tried hard not to think too much about the financial problems surrounding him.
One day, while he was on his route, something happened that would change his life forever. An old lady, who apparently had no one else, got on the bus. She was an elderly woman, frail and tired looking. Anatoly, feeling grumpy because of financial strain, had an impulsive reaction that he could not control. Seeing that the old lady could not find a free seat, and annoyed by the lack of passengers, he pushed her off the bus, leaving her on the cold street. The woman, shocked and terrified, fell to the ground and watched as the bus took off, taking Anatoly away, not caring in the least about what he had done.
What Anatoly didn’t know was that this action would be the beginning of a devastating turn in his life. A year after that incident, something terrible happened. Anatoly began to receive strange news from the townspeople. It was said that the woman he had thrown off the bus was actually a mystical figure, with the ability to punish those who treated her badly. No one had noticed this at the time, but now it was said that there was a curse on him.
His life began to fall apart: he lost even more clients, his financial situation worsened, and to top it off, he began to experience strange events that seemed related to that fateful day. Anatoly realized that his fate had changed, and that the guilt for his irrational act would haunt him for a long time. What seemed to be a small tantrum of a tired man, turned out to be a terrible lesson about karma and compassion.
