The season 26 winning coach had some heartfelt words for the country singer’s first season as a mentor.
The Voice season 27 will be back so soon, and we already love the camaraderie between coaches Michael Bublé and Kelsea Ballerini!
The hit NBC series will be back on TV starting Monday, February 3, 2025 at 8 p.m. ET, where viewers will tune in to see aspiring artists vie for the chance to be discovered. While Michael (whose artist Sofronio Vasquez won season 26), Adam Levine and John Legend are returning to roles they are familiar with, this is Kelsea’s first time as a full-time coach (she previously appeared in seasons 15, 16 and 20, most recently as a temporary coach in Kelly Clarkson‘s place).
Now, The Voice is celebrating a new installment, thanks to a new promo posted on Instagram on January 7. Posting a video featuring the four coaches posing together, the show made sure to acknowledge Kelsea’s brand-new TV era.
“Lights. Camera. Chair turns! 🎶,” the caption read. “Kelsea Ballerini joins Coaches Adam Levine, John Legend, and Michael Bublé on an all-new season of #TheVoice, premiering February 3 on @nbc and streaming on @peacock.”

Shortly after the post went live on social media, it didn’t take long for Kelsea to notice and comment with her elation.
“🥹 I feel so lucky to be a part of this,” she replied. “Can’t wait for everyone to see the TALENT and vibes and happiness all around.”
So, what made this moment for Kelsea even better? The fact that Michael saw her note in the comments of the Instagram post and replied with his own heartfelt message.
“@kelseaballerini were lucky to have you Kelsea ❤️,” he sweetly responded back to her.
What an emotional way for Michael to usher Kelsea into The Voice family! It looks like Michael isn’t the only one thrilled by Kelsea joining the show, though, because fans were equally ecstatic and had their own thoughts as well.

Now, if this is the reaction Kelsea is getting ahead of her The Voice coaching debut, we seriously can’t wait until the first episode airs to see her in action. And while it’s still a few weeks away, we have a feeling Michael and Kelsea’s budding friendship will blossom on the air, too.
