Angel Reese finished the game with 10 points, two assists and 11 rebounds in a matchup against an unstoppable Caitlin Clark, who was the game’s leading scorer with 31 points, 12 assists and four rebounds. Both rookies played 32 minutes.

The matchup between the Chicago Sky and the Indiana Fever ended in favor of Clark’s team, 81-100.

Indiana added one more victory to its positive streak, reaching five wins in its last 6 games. Meanwhile, Chicago continues in the opposite direction, accumulating its sixth loss in its last 7 games.

With the loss to Indiana, Chicago fell to an 11-20 record, struggling to stay at the bottom of the WNBA playoff standings. The Fever, meanwhile, moved to a 16-16 record, inching closer to the playoffs.

Indiana Fever moved into sixth place in the playoff standings with their win over Chicago.

Reese and the Sky started off winning the first quarter, 26-23, but the remaining three quarters were dominated by Clark and the Fever, 24-26, 31-22 and 22-17.Kelsey Mitchell was Indiana’s second leading scorer of the game with 23 points, one assist and one rebound. For Chicago, Michaela Onyenwere was the team’s leading scorer, tallying 20 points, two assists and six rebounds.

Off the court, Reese’s acting debut will hit theaters on November 22, 2024, with the sequel scheduled for release on November 26, 2025. In addition to Ariana Grande, the film also stars Cynthia ErivoJonathan Bailey, Peter Dinklage, among others.
