“Basically, wanna do drugs and go to Vegas”: $13M Johnny Depp Movie Almost Made Joe Rogan a Gambling Addict

During one of the episodes of his show, the UFC commentator and actor invited the American comedian Theo Von. When the two were engaged in their conversations, the host of the show Rogan talked about Johnny Depp’s movie Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas.

When Joe Rogan was in conversation with his guest Von, the actor expressed his admiration for Johnny Depp’s co-star Benicio Del Toro. The 60-year-old actor collaborated with the Traffic actor in the movie Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas. The movie was released on 19 May 1998 and it was directed by Terry Gilliam. On Rogan’s podcast, the host talked about Del Toro and said he is a cool actor. The comedian and actor also said that the comedy and adventure movie tempted him to do drugs. Rogan said while talking about Depp and Del Toro’s movie,
He is cool. I remember when he was in the Johnny Depp movie about Hunter S. Thompson- ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’. Oh, that was a great movie. He got fat for that movie, too. That was a f**king great movie. That movie makes me wanna do drugs.”
He further added,
Basically, wanna do drugs and go to Vegas. Fun f**king times.”
In the movie, the Cry Baby actor portrayed the character of Raoul Duke, and The Wolfman actor was seen as Dr. Gonzo. Tobey Maguire was also part of the star cast and he played the role of Hitchhiker.

Last year Depp won the defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard. The Depp vs. Heard hashtag was on every social media and it was the talk of the town. During one of the past episodes, the 55-year-old actor and comedian opened up about his thoughts on this case. While talking about the Aquaman actress and the Blow actor, Rogan said,
“There’s a lot of guys who wanted a guy to win one of these things, you know? But it’s just not good to not be honest. If you are doing that, you’re doing it to try and hurt someone.”

Since the trial came to light, it became the Men vs. Women according to the podcast host, When the 60-year-old actor won the case, the 37-year-old actress was mercilessly trolled by netizens.
