Ja Morant was a busy man a few weeks ago.

The troubled Memphis Grizzlies star, who has not played since he flashed a gun on Instagram Live while at a strip club on March 4th, visited a strip club in the Denver area just two days before he would return and flash a weapon on Instagram Live.

A New York Post report published Saturday details a wild night of Morant burning through $50,000, paying several girls, and working through a feast of food.

Morant entered Shotgun Willie’s in Glendale, Colorado, around 1:30 am on March 2nd, which was hours after the Grizzlies’ win in Houston. He would book a VIP room for three hours for him and his crew to party the night away.

“The whole room is full of money — it’s literally a pile. You’d need a rake,” one club insider told The Post.

“He was there to party, he wanted some girls in the room,” the source continued. “The music was very, very gangster.”
The club’s majority owner said Morant was “exceptionally respectful, and sweet.”
“This kid, real young, was exceptionally respectful, and sweet and he did not drink [on his second visit],” Deborah Dunafon told The Post. “We’ve had [Denver] Nuggets and Broncos … come in and pitch quarters at the girls, be disrespectful and nasty. He’s marvelous.”
As we know, he would return two nights later and flash a gun at Shotgun Willie’s. Glendale police investigated Morant for the gun incident but did not file charges. He has since apologized for his actions but has not been allowed to return to the court.

The Grizzlies originally suspended Morant for two games, but Memphis announced Wednesday that Morant would miss at least the next four games.

The NBA is still investigating the incident.
