Cardi B has defended Will Smith. On Wednesday, the rapper hopped on Instagram Live to support the Hollywood actor.

It came after a video blogger named Brother Bilal claimed that Smith had slept with his friend Duane Martin. The blogger made the accusations in an interview on Tasha K’s podcast Unwine with Tasha K.

She tied it back to her ongoing legal battle for defamation with blogger Tasha K. He’s the same YouTuber who supported accusations on Smith of having an affair with a man.

Cardi B sticks up on behalf of Will Smith. Speaking to The Mirror, she defended Smith and called out blogger Tasha K, who is helping to spread the accusations. The rapper told the outlet:

“I feel like Will has a nice heart, and he is very unproblematic. I don’t like what people are doing to Will Smith.”

“Will is a Libra, and Libra’s go crazy. People often start labelling us, ‘Oh, this bi**h is crazy’ […] and I feel people are doing this to Will Smith,” she continued.

The Bodak Yellow singer previously reacted to the blogger after he made various allegations against her in a YouTube video in 2021. As a result, Cardi B filed a defamation lawsuit against him.

The accusations included substance abuse, sexually transmitted diseases, and prostitution. Besides Cardi B, Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, has also threatened to file a lawsuit against Brother Bilal.

Jada Pinkett Smith remarked that she’s taking legal action against her husband Will Smith’s former assistant, Brother Bilal, who claimed he saw Smith having s*x in a dressing room years ago. After the claims made headlines, Pinkett Smith came in front and told TMZ, “We suin’!”

The actress said, “We’re gonna take legal action,” alleging that Brother Bilal is only attempting a “money shakedown.”

“Because it’s one thing to have your opinion about somebody versus just making up salacious, malicious stories,” Pinkett Smith added. “So, that’s actionable. So we gonna roll with that.”

“It’s based around this person’s idea that they, in some way, were doing business around Will’s book, and that they spent money [and] needed to be compensated,” the TV host continued. “So he already tried to do this money shakedown. Will was willing to give him a certain amount, and he didn’t take it. So, this whole situation is based on that.”

For now, there’s not any confirmation whether both husband and wife filed a lawsuit against Bilal based on the allegations.
