Dwayne Johnson was recently seen in his reprisal role of Hobbs in the recently released Fast X. With the actor starring alongside DCU actress Gal Gadot, and the Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds in the 2021 Netflix movie Red Notice, the movie was hailed as one of the finest.

Now, it seems that The Rock will find himself busy again in a Netflix movie. It was recently confirmed by the Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot that Red Notice 2 is definitely happening. With The Rock facing some bad movie choices, it seems that his blockbuster days are finally returning back.

Dwayne Johnson’s Bad Days Are Finally Over!

With The Rock starring in DCU’s Black Adam, the movie received mixed reviews from the audience. Despite almost 15 years in the making, the movie failed to reach up to Johnson’s expectations as well as crushed the hopes of the DCU too.

The actor later reprised his role as Luke Hobbs in the recently released Vin Diesel starter Fast X. Although appearing in just a cameo, Dwayne Johnson seems to have stepped up his movie game. Appearing in the 2021 Netflix movie Red Notice, Johnson starred alongside Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds in the movie. It was recently confirmed by DCU actress Gal Gadot that Red Notice 2 is indeed in the works.
“We’re all talking about it. I don’t know if I can say anything! I already read the second script and it’s… whoo! We’re all very excited about it!”

The reports say that Dwayne Johnson will also return in his iconic role. Since the original Netflix film was a massive hit, fans expect that the second part of the franchise will be greater. Dwayne Johnson, suffering through a barrage of some bad decisions currently, may just get a chance to be back in the blockbuster field!

Although the news hasn’t been confirmed, it is almost a certainty that The Rock is getting a spin-off in the Fast & Furious franchise. As per reports by Production Weekly, the Jumanji actor is all set to star alongside a familiar face in the spin-off titled Fast Presents: Hobbs and Reyes.

Seemingly a showdown between Luke Hobbs and Jason Momoa’s Dante Reyes, the spin-off will be a greater addition to the Fast Family. The spin-off would be greater if Johnson were to be joined by Jason Statham’s iconic character of Deckard Shaw once again but nothing can be confirmed or denied yet.

Although the first Red Notice received an average rating of 6.3/10 on IMDB and a record low of 36% on Rotten Tomatoes, the movie still managed to gain record-breaking viewership. Red Notice, starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds is available to stream on Netflix.
