According to Variety, Julia Roberts had charged around $3 million for a supporting role in Mother’s Day. The romantic dramedy dealt with the life of Sandy played by the Friends star Jennifer Aniston. Julia Roberts played the character of Miranda, in Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Day was met with a lukewarm reception both critically and financially. The drama opened with only $8.3 million over the weekend. Mother’s Day went on to make $32.5 million against the production budget of $25 million.

Jennifer Aniston Felt Intimidated By Her Mother’s Day Co-Star Julia Roberts

Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts had come together for an episode of Friends during the early 90s. The talented actor duo collaborated for Mother’s Day in 2016. During an interview with the reputed media outlet  Entertainment Tonight in 2016 Jennifer Aniston spoke about why she was bothered by her co-star. She said-
 “Because it’s Julia Roberts! Oh my gosh. It’s just a different thing when you get to work with them and then you’re doing what you both do, [but] together,” Aniston continued. “I even flubbed in the first take and called her Julia!”
