Russell’s romance comedy Silver Linings Playbook also had a similar embarrassing moment when she was approaching the stage to hold the gold. Koshy, on the other hand, was wearing towering red heels, which made her fall due to a soft imbalance in her walk.

Liza Koshy’s massive platform heels complimenting her off-the-shoulder gown caused an embarrassing downfall at the Red Carpet of the 2024 Oscars. The actor, however, took it as if she was ready to take anything with subtle humor. The actor was walking to pose for photographs when she lost her footing before the fall. Still, she remained calm, or rather funny, despite fumbling the situation.

Koshy looked gorgeous in her splendid attire this year with an all-red dress and heels and a beautiful hair style. After the fall, the 27-year-old simply said, “That’s alright,” (via X) after receiving a collective “oooohhh” from the people who were present behind the camera.

After thanking the people who helped her stand on her feet again, she candidly joked to lighten the situation.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you,” Koshy said, adding, “It was a manhole y’all saw that? My God!”

Certainly, it was great to see the actor handling the situation by making a joke at her expense.

And then, as I started to walk up the stairs and the fabric from my dress tucked under my feet, I realized my stylist had told me, ‘Kick, walk, kick, walk.’ You are supposed to kick the dress out while you walk, and I totally forgot because I was thinking about cake! And that’s why I fell.”

Still, Lawrence recalls the fall and it has been one of the memories in her staggering career that was painted like graffiti on a wall. Yet, the actor never hesitated to discuss the situation.
