An NBA fan who attended a recent Los Angeles Lakers game caused something of a stir when folks at home couldn’t stop noticing the way she was checking out LeBron James.

It didn’t take long for viewers to identify the young woman in question as Madison Beer, a relatively well-known singer and social media influencer.

The way she was checking out James understandably caught people’s eye:

In a week where Molly Qerim’s provocative outfit to a New York Knicks game stole so many headlines, it is telling that Beer was able to swoop in and become such a big story.

Beer is a massive star online and her posts seem to get tremendous engagement:

Given what a hubbub Beer’s appearance to an otherwise unremarkable Lakers game drummed up, it is safe to assume she will probably attend more outings.

And if she does, it will be fascinating to see what sort of reception she gets.

This time around, James didn’t seem to acknowledge her. Not publicly at least.

Will that change the next time Beer attends a Lakers game? Time will tell.
