Cardi B and her estranged husband Offset were pictured heading home after they enjoyed a Valentine’s Day dinner together.

The on-off couple spent a romantic evening at upscale Italian restaurant Carbone in Miami Beach on Wednesday, leaving at 12.45am.

Sparking reconciliation rumours, the appearance comes just months after the pair confirmed they had split.

Despite unfollowing each other in December and announcing they were going their separate ways late last year, the pair looked to be enjoying each other’s company again as they spent the romantic evening together.

The WAP hitmaker, 31, who is known for her experimental looks, showed off a new cropped hairdo as she quickly signed an autograph for waiting fans.

Attempting to shade her appearance with her mobile phone held up to shield her face, the rapper made a stylish exit in a vintage 2001 Nascar jacket and black jeans.

Meanwhile former Migos member Offset – real name Kiari Cephus – opted for a preppy look as he donned a knitted tank top.

The musician, 32, kept a protective arm behind Cardi as they hopped into a waiting limo, attempting to not draw too much attention to themselves.

The duo arrived to the Italian eatery together, but an eyewitness told TMZ that Offset ‘went inside a few minutes after Cardi’ in an attempt to seemingly try to ‘stagger themselves.’

Offset was friendly to fans as they approached him, and reportedly gave one a hug.

As they left the restaurant around midnight, the onlooker reported ‘they emerged together’ before heading home into the same vehicle.

Neither Cardi or Offset posted anything from their night out or tributes to each other on social media.

In December, Cardi confirmed that she had separated from Offset during another Instagram Live session.

According to E! News, the Grammy winner told her fans that she had ‘been single for a minute now’ and admitted that her hesitation to reveal the news was because she did not ‘know how to tell the world.’

The performer – whose estranged husband was alleged to have cheated on her with Chrisean Rock – remained optimistic about her future, however, and told her fans that she was ‘curious for a new life, for a new beginning.’

The Bodak Yellow rapper then stated that she was ‘excited’ about her new stage in life.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed recently that Cardi and Offset both unfollowed each other.

The rapper also recently shared a cryptic Instagram story post where she revealed, ‘You know sometimes you just outgrow relationships.’

She added in the next story post, ‘I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings… I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST.’

This certainly wouldn’t be the first time the couple has been on the outs throughout their tumultuous relationship.

The couple reportedly met at an ‘industry event’ in 2016, with Cardi B recalling in a November 2017 Twitter video, ‘He was very consistent. He really wanted to talk to me.’

They reportedly started dating in January 2017, the same month they released a song together called Lick.

Cardi shared a photo of them on her Instagram during the Super Bowl, referring to the Migos rapper as, ‘my friend… you know what I’m saying?’

Offset later revealed that the Super Bowl was their first real date, with the couple sharing a kissing Instagram snap on Valentine’s Day 2017.

While Cardi refused to confirm she was even dating Offset that summer, she dropped some not-so-subtle marriage hints at the VMAs in late August 2017.

Less than a month later, the couple secretly married in Fulton County, Georgia, though it was not publicly revealed until June 2018.

Offset proposed to Cardi on stage in October 2017 – despite already being legally married – though in January 2018, rumours surfaced that not only had Offset cheated on Cardi, but he had made a sex tape with another woman.

Cardi defended her decision to stay with Offset in February 2018, stating, ‘It’s not right, what he f***ing did—but people don’t know what I did, ’cause I ain’t no angel.’

Pregnancy rumours swirled just weeks later, with Cardi confirming she’s expecting while performing on Saturday Night Live, with the couple welcoming their first child Kulture in June 2018.

After months of cheating rumours, Cardi revealed in December 2018 that she had split with Offset, even denying rumours their entire relationship was ‘fake.’

Later that month, while Cardi was performing at Rolling Loud, Offset took over her set in an effort to win her back, with signs reading, ‘Take Me Back Cardi.’

A month later they had reconciled, with the couple in attendance at the Grammy’s where Cardi became the first solo female artist to win Best Rap Album.
