The rumors broke out free when Kylie Jenner posted to Instagram a few pictures of her embracing her best friend, Anastasia ‘Stassie’ Karanikolaou, in February this year. In the last image of the post, the pair is seen full-on smooching each other on the lips, with the post captioned as ‘forever valentine’, leading to their dating rumors spreading out like wildfire.

In a recent episode of The Kardashians, the 25-year-old magnate went ahead to address all these rumors about her being lesbian and dating her best friend. When asked about what happened with Stassie AKA Stass, Jenner said,
“The whole internet thinks Stass and I are dating now. I always make out with Stass, I don’t know why this is like a new thing.”
Although the ‘always’ in her statement helped fire more sparks to the rumors, the $700M rich heiress went ahead to claim how ‘a lot of best girlfriends’ do the same thing, making it seem normal. Not just stopping there, Jenner once again addressed the issue in front of Karanikolaou, deeper into the episode. She said,
“Isn’t it so funny that everyone thinks that we’re dating these days? When we get a little alcohol in our system, we just like to kiss each other and stuff.”
Where on the one hand, Kylie Jenner is going around trying to clear out the matter, on the other hand, fans also believe this might just be a publicity stunt that the socialite has pulled in order to gain attention for saving the Kardashian show amid falling ratings.

“I don’t know. All my comments is, ‘We know you guys are having s-x.’ And we’re not. I wish we were. It would have just been way easier if I was s-xually attracted to you.”
Furthermore, the American socialite went ahead to clarify the true relationship she shares with her gal pal Stassie, claiming they have practically been brought up together, and that she is ‘like a sister’ to Jenner.

“Anastasia and I have been friends since we were probably 12 or 13. She’s definitely my oldest friend. We grew up together, we’ve been through so much together. She’s like a sister.”
While it is probably not okay to make out with someone you consider to be ‘like a sister’ to you, Kylie Jenner has seemingly put the rumors about her being lesbian to rest for now. But for how long will this ‘sister’ bonding go on, only time can tell.
