Kanye West lashed out Gigi Hadid in another impassioned rant as he branded her a ‘privileged Karen’ and a ‘zombie’.

The rapper, 45, and the supermodel, 25, have been caught up in a war of words this week after she leapt to the defence of Vogue contributing editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who West had been accused of ‘bullying’ online.

In the latest exchange West lashed out as he shared a screenshot of a comment made by Gigi on Instagram in which she claimed the rapper did not treat ‘V’ like a friend.

While no further context was provided it appeared she was referencing late designer Virgil Abloh after West had been criticised for referencing the designer in his rants.

Gigi penned: ‘Finally…. Thank u! Even people who knew him for a percentage of the time knew kanye did not treat V like a friend ++ V LOVED GKJ…. He’s watching. [sic]’

In response Kanye shared in all caps: ‘Im not finna get ran over by Hollywood again. Gigi you a privileged Karen.

‘You were born with a silver spoon in your mouth. You’re a zombie. You speak up here but didn’t speak up when my child was kidnapped on her birthday. [sic]’

West has made repeated claims that his estranged wife Kim Kardashian ‘kidnapped’ their daughter Chicago when she threw the youngster a secret birthday party in January this year and refused to tell him where it was.

Kardashian – who co-parents North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three with the rapper – has denied this claim.

West later shared an image of text that read: ‘Nobody say nothing to me in private that they wouldn’t say in public. I’m not yall’s personal hard drive [sic]’, captioning the post: ‘Jesus is king.’

MailOnline has contacted Hadid’s representatives for comment.

Kanye West wears ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt during Yeezy show

Tensions between West and Hadid began brewing this week when the rapper took aim at stylist Karefa-Johnson after she criticised his controversial White Lives Matter clothing at his Paris Fashion Week show.

In his posts, West insulted Karefa-Johnson’s style and scoffed ‘this is not a fashion person’, before going on to share the ominous text ‘this means war’.

He also shared a text exchange with a person called Mowalola – presumably fashion designer Mowalola Ogunlesi who Ye picked to head up Yeezy Gap a few years ago – in which he has been urged ‘not to insult’ the writer.

The exchange prompted Hadid to comment that West didn’t have ‘a percentage of her intellect’, and said there was ‘no point to his s**t’.

Hadid wrote: ‘You wish u had a percentage of her intellect. You have no idea haha…. If there’s actually a point to any of your s**t she might be the only person that could save u. As if the “honor” of being invited to your show should keep someone from giving their opinion ..? Lol. You’re a bully and a joke.’

Hadid later added on her Story that Karefa-Johnson was ‘one of the must important voices in our industry and could school that disgraceful man in more ways than he knows.’

She also shared a lengthy statement from Vogue writer José Criales-Unzueta who accused West of ‘publicly bullying’ the stylist and said of his latest collection ‘It’s not smart. It’s not interesting. It’s not nuanced. It’s dangerous.’

While Hadid is friends with the Kardashian/Jenner clan she has made it clear that she does not align with West’s views after she ‘liked’ a controversial tweet that criticised the fashion industry for fawning over West.

The 2020 post was addressed to the fashion industry and read: ‘Just in case you forgot, Kanye West advocates for Donald Trump’s administration,

‘And that gay-hating, poor person-hating, immigrant hating, woman-hating, trans-hating, animal and nature-hating, abortion-banning, sociopathic, genocidal agenda is the goody in each of your ‘sunday service’ gift bags.

The message then went on to accuse anyone of working to support Kanye’s products of putting lives at risk.

‘Lending your talents to West’s product campaigns and your caches to the normalization of his heinous message endangers the lives of gay people, women, poor, middle and working classes, and the environment itself.’

Disgraceful: Hadid later added on her Story that Karefa-Johnson was 'one of the must important voices in our industry and could school that disgraceful man in more ways than he knows'

The message concluded: ‘You are producing rightwing propaganda with every tweet of elation, record cover, choreography or peal of Christian joy that you contribute to West’s dangerous campaign.’

While Hadid is a friend of the Kardashians and Jenners, she’s also a loyal friend to her close pal Taylor Swift.

The runway beauty spoke out in 2016 to deny claims she supported Kanye when she attended his Yeezy 3 where he debuted his track Famous in which he raps about Swift.

At the time controversy swirled over whether the singer gave Kanye permission to use the lyrics: ‘I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b***h famous.’.

After being spotted at the rapper’s show, Hadid made sure there was no doubting her loyalty to her girlfriend: ‘My attendance somewhere does not mean I agree with everything being said in the music playing there. My friends know of my loyalty.’

West has found himself in a series of public rows with celebrities this week, and on Wednesday he took aim at  Justin Bieber‘s wife Hailey after she also defended Karefa-Johnson.

West spoke directly to the Baby hitmaker, 28, writing: ‘Justin get your girl before I get mad’ in a post that also trolled singer John Legend and the Vogue editor.

He also shared a screenshot of an E! News article discussing Bieber’s support for Karefa-Johnson with the caption ‘Wait Am I canceled again??? Justin please let me know.’

Ye started out the lengthy text, post which referred to his surprise Yeezy fashion show in Paris on Monday, writing, ‘I wanna just let everybody know there was also some fashion this week also.’

‘There was a major thing called fashion week which really last a month and there were some very well done crazy overpriced clothes being shown.’

‘It wasn’t just about my paradigm shifting T shirt. Just kidding my tee s*** on every body’s showssss nothing happened but my t shirt,’ further adding, ‘remember my one t shirt took alllll the attention.’

‘Because you’re all f***** programmed sheep aaaaaand those boots gab was wearing were f***** traaaasssh,’ he said, doubling down on a recent Instagram post where he trolled her boots, before adding, ‘But I’m sure John Legend still wants a pair.’

It comes after Hailey shared support for the Vogue fashion editor on Tuesday, after West bullied her online.

‘My respect for you runs deep my friend! To know you is to adore you and to work with you is an honor. the most kind. the most talented. the most fun. the most chic,’ Hailey wrote on her Instagram Stories.

Karefa-Johnson landed at the center of headlines these last few days after comments she made expressing concern about Kanye’s White Lives Matter fashion show garnered his attention.

West caused an uproar with Monday’s show in Paris, which saw models striding down the catwalk in WLM shirts – seen as a repudiation of the Black Lives Matter movement.

His spokesman Jason Lee quit in protest at the provocative show, writing on Instagram that West was ‘gaslighting black people and empowering white supremacy.’

‘Very humble and thankful to Ye for the opportunity to work with him but that part of our relationship has come to an end,’ he later wrote on his Instagram Story.

Gabriella Karefa-Johnson said the t-shirts were ‘deeply offensive, violent and dangerous’.

West reacted with scorn, ridiculing her outfits online and saying she had no understanding of fashion.

Yet a day later, he insisted Karefa-Johnson was his ‘sister’ and said they had had a two-hour discussion about the issues raised.

In another post on Wednesday, West praised DailyMail.com for being ‘really fair and positive.’

Meanwhile, one of the only famous friends coming to the defense of Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband at the moment is Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who called the musician a ‘free thinker’ and says his message was ‘misconstrued.’

Diddy, 52, said ‘My boy is a super, super, super free thinker’ in an interview on ‘The Breakfast Club on Wednesday.

‘And a lot of times, what he means is, like, misconstrued, you know what I’m saying?’ the record executive added.

When host Charlamagne, 44, interjected to say, ‘You gotta stop making excuses for him’ he replied, ‘No, no, I’m not making excuses, I’m just sayin’ if he did it, that’s the way he thinks.’

The rapper also stated that people ‘don’t have to condemn Kanye or cancel him,’ but that he understands that the shirts are ‘very tone-deaf.’

‘I understand white lives do matter, but it’s not that,’ Diddy went on. ‘[Black Lives Matter] was our slogan. That wasn’t our slogan to go share with nobody else… Because right now, we’re the ones that are dying, that are incarcerated, that are left in poverty.’

‘You have to be unapologetically black and love your people and love your tribe first,’ he added.

Diddy also revealed that he had previously planned to release his own T-shirt to support West, but now ‘[needs] a couple of days to get over’ the ‘White Lives Matter’ design.

Ye shocked fans on Monday, when he debuted the design, and even had fashion models in the show wearing the clothing with the message written across it, a response to the Black Lives Matter movement that was founded in 2013 following the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman.

It is not the first time that Ye has stoked controversy surrounding race, after saying in 2018 that he thought 400 years of slavery ‘was a choice.’

Kanye has aligned himself with right-wing figures such as Owens, as well as former President Donald Trump, regularly sporting a Make America Great Again baseball hat in public.

During a May 2018 interview regarding his support of Trump, West said: ‘Racism isn’t the deal-breaker for me. If that was the case, I wouldn’t live in America.’

It was an eventful Wednesday for Kanye, who earlier in the day accused the Kardashian family of ‘basically kidnapping’ his daughter Chicago on her birthday, as he continued to make claims that ex-wife Kim Kardashian has prevented him from seeing their children.

The accusation came as Khloe Kardashian made a public plea for the rapper to stop ‘tearing down’ her sister, after Kanye dredged up his family dispute amid the ongoing controversy surrounding his ‘White Lives Matter’ T-shirt.

‘AND FOR ALL AUDIENCE SO OUTRAGED ABOUT MY T SHIRT,’ Kanye wrote in his latest Instagram rant, adding: ‘WHERE WAS YOU WHEN I COULDN’T SEE MY KIDS.’

In response Khloe, 38, begged him to ‘STOP tearing Kimberly down and using our family when you want to deflect,’ and insisted that he ‘Leave her and the family out of it so that the kids can be raised peacefully.’
