Ashley St. Clair, a 31-year-old author, MAGA columnist, and political commentator, made the shocking revelation in a post on X (formerly Twitter) late Friday night, telling her followers that she and Musk now share a 5-month-old child.

“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” St. Clair wrote in her post, which was captioned “Alea lacta est” — Latin for “the die is cast.”
She went on to explain why she had kept the alleged birth under wraps until now: “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”

St. Clair also made a direct plea to the press, asking for privacy: “I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting.”
Musk Remains Silent

While the claim sent shockwaves through social media – being viewed 1.7 million times on the platform, as of this writing – Musk himself has not publicly addressed it.

The New York Post has reportedly reached out to the billionaire’s legal team for confirmation, but so far, had no response.

Musk, who follows St. Clair on X, continued posting about unrelated topics in the hour following her announcement, making no mention of the claim.
St. Clair later thanked supporters in a follow-up tweet, before announcing that she would be stepping away from social media.

“In all sincerity, appreciate the kind words. Wish I did not feel the need to make a statement. Kids should be off limits for journalists,” she wrote. “Will be spending time with my family & logging off for a while.”

If True, This Would Be Musk’s 13th Child

If the claim is accurate, the baby would be the Tesla and SpaceX CEO’s 13th child.

Musk, 52, has fathered children with multiple women over the past two decades. His first son, Nevada Alexander, was born in 2002 but tragically passed away at just 10 weeks old.

He went on to have five more children with his first wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson — twins Vivian and Griffin, followed by triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian.
After his divorce from Wilson, Musk had three children with singer Grimes — X Æ A-12, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus.

Around the same time, he secretly welcomed twins Strider and Azure with Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink, in November 2021.

Musk’s Views on Population Growth

The billionaire has been vocal about his concerns regarding declining birthrates, frequently posting about the topic on X.

Musk recently shared a post about falling fertility rates in Sweden and Britain, warning: “Instead of teaching fear of pregnancy, we should teach fear of childlessness.”
He has previously stated that “population collapse due to low birth rates is a much bigger risk to civilization than global warming.”

As for St. Clair, she most recently took to Instagram to share a photo of herself at an Inauguration event for President Trump.
