Speculation about host Dana Perino leaving Fox News and her future at the network has been circulating online, with various reports fueling the discussion. Questions have emerged regarding her role on The Five and America’s Newsroom, leading to widespread interest in what’s next for the longtime Fox News personality.

Here’s what we know so far about the rumors and the truth behind Dana Perino’s status at Fox News.

Is Dana Perino exiting The Five and Fox News?

Dana Perino is not leaving The Five or Fox News.

She is currently listed as a co-host of The Five and a co-anchor of America’s Newsroom on the Fox News website. She also hosts the Perino on Politics podcast on Fox News Audio. There has been no official announcement regarding her departure from any of these roles.

Misleading online advertisements sparked rumors about Perino leaving Fox News. These ads falsely stated that she was departing to promote a line of CBD gummies, but multiple fact-checking sources, including Snopes, debunked the claims. Fox News Media’s Media Relations Manager said, “I can confirm that this report is false” (via Lead Stories).

False reports claimed that Sean Hannity had a dispute with Dana Perino over the CBD product controversy. The rumors alleged that Hannity became angry about the product and pursued legal action against Perino, but no evidence supports these claims. Hannity has not addressed the rumors, and Perino has not publicly mentioned any disagreement between them.

Perino has been with Fox News since 2009 after serving as White House press secretary under President George W. Bush. She has held several key positions at the network, including co-hosting The Five, one of the highest-rated cable news programs. She also co-anchors America’s Newsroom alongside Bill Hemmer.

Recently, Perino announced her new book, I Wish Someone Had Told Me: The Best Advice for Building a Great Career and a Meaningful Life, which is set to release on April 22, 2025 (via Fox News). The book, published by Fox News Books, features career and life advice from professionals in various fields, including some of her Fox News colleagues.
