Diana Taurasi remains WINLESS against Caitlin Clark this year with both Team USA and the Phoenix Mercury. Her past comments about Clark are coming back to haunt her as ‘REALITY IS COMING” sets in.’

Before Indiana Fever rookie phenom Caitlin Clark even stepped on a WNBA court, Phoenix Mercury star Diana Taurasi sent a warning to her: “Reality is coming.”

Taurasi, one of the greatest players in WNBA history, made it very clear that she didn’t think Clark would immediately thrive in the pros. At least that’s what she suggested during her interview with ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt.

“Reality is coming,” Taurasi said. “There’s levels to this thing. That’s just life. We all went through it. You see it on the NBA side, and you’re going to see it on this side. You look superhuman playing against some 18-year-olds, but you’re going to come play with some grown women that have been playing professional basketball for a long time.”

Clark never fired back at Taurasi. Instead, she has allowed her game on the hardwood to do the talking.

On Friday night, Clark had 29 points and 10 assists in a win over Phoenix. The Fever are now 3-0 in games against the Mercury this season.

We also can’t forget that Clark helped Team WNBA defeat Team USA in this year’s All-Star Game. So she’s essentially 4-0 against Taurasi this year.

Although it’s highly unlikely Clark will take a victory lap, her supporters seem to be very happy that Taurasi’s blunt message for her has aged terribly.

“Diana Taurasi hasn’t beaten Caitlin Clark yet this year with Team USA or the Phoenix Mercury,” Barstool Sports wrote on X. “Reality is tough.”

“Diana Taurasi said reality was coming for Caitlin Clark in the WNBA,” OutKick tweeted. “Clark remains undefeated against Taurasi and hung 29 points and 10 assists on her Friday night. This clip has aged like spoiled milk.”

“Can someone let Diana Taurasi know reality has set in? And while we’re at it, the orchestrated UConn hate lies at the feet at Geno. We get it. Clark chose Iowa over UConn,” another person said.

The Fever don’t have another game against the Mercury on their remaining schedule.

Maybe, just maybe, we’ll get to see Clark and Taurasi square off in the playoffs.
