Dwyane Wade set tongues wagging online this Sunday after making a curious comment about Lebron James’ pronouns.

The former Miami Heat superstar is part of the No. 1 broadcasting team for NBC’s coverage of men’s basketball at the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France, calling the action alongside Noah Eagle.

A particular comment from the three-time NBA champion has been trending as he kept saying “his pronouns are he/him” following big buckets from either LBJ or Kevin Durant.

While some fans loved it, others felt like he was using it too much.

“Dwayne wade using the he him joke twice same quarter is crazy,” one fan wrote.

“Been loving Dwades commentary but he said this about RJ yesterday too,” another remarked.

“Dwyane Wade needs to chill 😂 Just dropped his 3rd “he/him” pronoun line of the game after this LeBron bucket,” another observed.

“‘he/him you know his pronouns’ is so hard LMFAO dwyane wade is great at commentating already,” a fourth noted.

Some Fans Took It Somewhere Else With Dwyane Wade

Other fans took a different angle.

“Please tell me Dwayne Wade did not say that,” one said.

“Don’t bring that woke stuff here,” said another,

“Of course D Wade bringing up pronouns 🤦‍♂️,” another user wrote.

“Woke Talk 🗑️ His pronouns? 😂🤮” someone laughed.

Meanwhile, Team USA beat Serbia 110-84 and are one step closer to that gold they so desperately want, given that this could be LeBron James’ last Olympics.

As for Dwyane Wade, he’s thought to be one of the top former players who could land a permanent broadcasting gig in the not-too-distant future.
